Broad protection

• Anti-spam: A solid protection against spam using CronLab's multi-layered defense (see below) ensures that legitimate emails are delivered and spam is stopped. These filters are updated every 15 minutes for optimal protection.


• Anti-virus: Emails and attachments (including in compressed files) are all checked for viruses.


• Anti-phishing: Phishing attacks are commonly used to steal company data. CronLab has a strong engine for protection against these attacks.


• Anti-spoofing: This feature stops senders from forging ("spoofing") SPF-compliant email addresses, ensuring that the emails received are from legitimate sources. Companies can allow for several mail servers to be used when sending emails from a single domains by specifying this in their SPF domain records.


• Anti-spyware (attachments): All attachments are scanned for content. Dangerous files are immediately eliminated.

Control in the hands of the user

• Message center: All users have access to a personal message center for an easy overview of their settings and quarantine. Passwords to the message center are self administered ensuring minimal administrative overhead and support.


• Personal quarantine: With a personal quarantine the users can easily decide on whether borderline emails are spam or legitimage. The spam filter will learn accordingly.


• Footer opt-out: Footers are optionally added to emails to allow users to report spam. These footers can be opted out from on a user-level.


• Phishing opt-out and reporting: Users can opt out from warnings for phishing attacks, or report sites that are legitimate and should be reviewed by CronLab's support team.


• Multilingual user interface: The user interface is available in English and in Swedish.

• Quick installation: Installation of an appliance usually takes no more than 10 minutes.


• Automatic updates: The appliances are automatically updated with the latest filters and firmware, with no administrative interaction required.


• Advanced reporting: Receive regular reports by email or watch graphical statistics live on the administration interface.


• Auto-sensing email server integration: Forget about LDAP! CronLab's appliances automatically sense which email addresses are legitimate and which are not. Emails to illegitimate addresses are stopped at the appliance already, saving network bandwitch and email server load.


• Multiple domains and email servers: A single appliance supports numerous domains and can be used for multiple email servers, resulting in very low administrative costs.


• Multilingual administration interface: The administration interface is available in English and in Swedish.
